YALLUNDER’S STELLAR YEAR WHICH HAS BEEN A TRIUMPH OF ARTISTRY

Yallunder, the celebrated songstress renowned for her powerful vocals and mesmerizing lyrics, has enjoyed a truly remarkable year in 2024. Despite not releasing any new music of her own this year, Yallunder’s influence and presence within the entertainment industry have been nothing short of extraordinary.

In a testament to her enduring appeal and artistry, Yallunder has surpassed a significant milestone by reaching over 3 million plays on Apple Music in South Africa. This achievement is particularly impressive considering the absence of new solo releases this year, highlighting the lasting impact of her previous work.

Yallunder’s contributions to the music industry have been far-reaching. She has continued to make waves by blessing other talented musicians and productions with her unique artistry. Her involvement underscores a powerful message: art, in its purest form, triumphs over fleeting trends and superficial hype.

One of the highlights of her year was her stellar performance with the legendary Oskido at the Metro FM Awards held in Nelspruit earlier this year. This performance showcased her exceptional talent and solidified her status as a leading figure in the South African music scene.

Yallunder also made significant contributions to the chart-topping album Sewe by super producer Kelvin Momo. This critically acclaimed project, which has achieved Number 1 status on the charts across South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, and Botswana, features Yallunder on three standout singles: ‘Imvuselelo’ alongside Thamie Sax, ‘Themba’ with Mkeyz, and ‘Langa’elihle’ with Babalwa M and Sia Mzizi. Her collaboration on this album follows her previous work with Kelvin Momo, further cementing their successful partnership.

The accolades for Yallunder did not stop there. She recently received a prestigious nod from the star-studded production of South Africa’s highly anticipated Netflix film Piano Love, which features Kwesta and Bontle Modiselle-Moloi among others. Yallunder’s 2020 hit single ‘Ndinovalo’ is featured prominently in the film, contributing to a memorable and impactful moment on the screen.

As Yallunder continues to shape the music and entertainment landscape, her dedication to artistic integrity and excellence remains unwavering. Her accomplishments this year underscore the power of true artistry and its ability to transcend the conventional metrics of success.
