Natasha Thahane’s Split From Thembinkosi Lorch Seemingly Peaceful Amid Questionable Posts
Renowned football star Thembinkosi Lorch and actress Natasha Thahane have called it quits.
Natasha broke the news on her Instagram account via a post as well as several stories. In the statement, she said: Thembinkosi Lorch and I have mutually decided to part ways romantically. The pair, who also have a child together, have, according to the statement, decided to “remain friends” as they will be parenting together.
However, despite the seemingly amicable split, there are a couple of cracks left by Natasha’s digital footprint that has people speculating that the split was anything but on good terms.
For starters, many people noted that Natasha had the comments under her announcement disabled shortly after she “liked” a comment on Insta when someone allegedly asked if Lorch had physically assaulted her. Although the comment is no longer available due to her having cut off the ability to post them, screenshots of the comment (and Natasha’s like) have been circulating widely.
Another sign that people picked up was one of Thahane’s stories, in which uploaded a video of international star Rihanna speaking about her experience of abuse at the hands of R&B singer and then-boyfriend Chris Brown. The inclusion of the video, coupled with Lorch’s previous charges of similar criminality have has been a source of contention among the public. Watch the video below:
On top of all this, the actress posted a cryptic and now-deleted message on IG stories, saying “If all your exes complain about you and they all complain about the same thing. You are the problem. Stop victimising yourselves and take accountability. Do better.”
Following the breakup and coupled with the Rihanna snippet, people have speculated that the issue she was referring to was Lorch’s history with women abuse and assault.

Although there hasn’t been any explicit that Natasha has come out with regarding Lorch, and whether or not he has abused her, her posts and social media activity have been marked with questionable content that seems to suggest more than meets the eye. So far, Lorch hasn’t come out to say anything about the split, with his last social media activity being an announcement on Instagram, informing his followers that he’d be leaving his former club Orlando Pirates for Mamelodi Sundowns FC.
