Cassper Nyovest Shares Complicated Past Sex Life And His Regrets But Mzansi Is Meh About It

Award-winning South African rapper and business mogul Cassper Nyovest recently made waves with his interview with social media personality Mpoomy Ledwaba.

On Ledwaba’s latest episode titled “Cassper Nyovest On: Finding God”, the pair spoke at length over one hour and twenty two minutes, covering fame, fortune, and ultimately finding God. The interview centered around Nyovest’s faith, and how in the midst of the rush of the fast life, he rediscovered his purpose and the meaning of serving God.

Of all the things spoken about, the climactic talking point which sparked debate were the turn of events that involved, according to Nyovest, his sexual immorality and how that affected his relationship with the mother of his child Thobeka Majozi.

“I used to live a life so hectic, and I thought it was fine because it was in secret. I used to wake up at 3AM, go to people’s homes, do my thing, and then go home. When people wake up in my home, they think I was there the whole night. I spent the night somewhere else. Bro, I created a mess. Like, I created a serious mess, and I hurt my baby mama so much, we broke up.” he said on the interview.

With his admission, people on social media were of two minds, with unsatisfied netizens accusing him of hiding behind religion and failing to be accountable for his life choices.

@AshleyMakgatho posted a scathing analysis, alleging that Cassper was trying to “flip the narrative” in order to make himself feel better about him being “a cheater.”

Controversial Twitter funnyman @Vhoyde posted: “Unless it’s negatively impacting your ability to function socially and economically, it’s not an addiction.”

@miss_neoentle was more sympathetic towards Thobeka and offered words of solace, posting: “Eyy being on the receiving end of someone’s “life lesson” is so difficult. You constantly question ukuthi did I deserve to be put through that.”
