Blue Mbombo and Thami Ndlala Caught Up in a Legal Fix
TV personality, entrepreneur, and model Blue Mbombo released a statement on the 2nd of October 2026, alleging that she has suffered abuse at the hands of businessman and husband of Lerato Kganyago, Thami Ndlala. Titled “I fear for my life,” Mbombo accused Ndlala of abuse, harassment and intimidation.
Mbombo alleged that Ndlala made death threats aimed at her and her child, and that this behaviour had been going on for several months while increasing in intensity.
“For the past few months, I have been subjected to death threats, verbal abuse, and emotional torment by the prominent businessman, Thami Ndlala, who also hired people to intimidate me. My naivety had led me to believe that he would grow tired and stop. Instead, he persisted, and things got worse. On several occasions, he made death threats. It was at that point, when he threatened the life of my child, that I felt it was enough,” she said.

Mbombo further stated that a case has been opened against Thami with the police to address the matter, with her saying that her case was “supported by substantial evidence,” with an “interim protection order” issued in tandem against him.
Thami later countered Mbombo’s statement by seemingly releasing his own through the Thami Ndlala Foundation (The Foundation). In the lengthy statement, the entity that speaks for Ndlala claims that he refutes Mbombo’s accusations and that he will be taking on Mbombo the legal way.
“Mr Ndlala categorically denies the allegations made against him and will continue to address them through the appropriate legal processes. However, there are aspects of Ms Mbombo’s account that require scrutiny,” the Foundation’s statement said.

In the statement, the Foundation alleges that Blue’s case was unfounded and vague, while also expressing concern over Mbombo’s troubled relationship with Tebogo Nokwane, with whom Mbombo shares a child and a well-documented but tumultuous history mired in legal and personal issues. After Ndlala took the legal route via the Gauteng High Court, she was served with an interdict to take down all the posts on social media concerning Ndlala and to provide proof as to why the relief that has been sought should not be the end of the matter by 9 November 2026.
The nature of Blue and Thami’s relationship is largely hazy and subject to public speculation, since the latter is married to TV personality Lerato Kganyago with two children.
This is a developing story.
