Sykes Unites Dlala Thukzin, Kabza De Small, Mthunzi, Jnr SA on “Yebo Nkosi”
SAMA award-winning singer-songwriter Sykes is set to release “Yebo Nkosi,” a new single featuring Dlala Thukzin, Kabza De Small, Mthunzi and Jnr SA. The 3-Step track drops on 2 October 2026 through Africori and opens the rollout of Sykes’ new EP, due in 2027.
The title is isiZulu for “Yes, Lord,” and the song is a sincere expression of faith, thankfulness and surrender. It starts from the idea that every stage of life teaches something. It asks listeners to stay grounded when things feel uncertain, to notice what they have been given, and to give thanks whatever their situation.

The track blends the individual styles of Sykes, Dlala Thukzin, Kabza De Small, Mthunzi and Jnr SA into a modern 3-Step sound, held together by a message of spiritual reflection and appreciation.
At its heart, “Yebo Nkosi” is about trusting God’s timing, drawing strength from hardship, and understanding that gratitude belongs in the hard moments as well as the good ones. It is a reminder that faith can bring comfort and clarity even when the way forward is unclear.
