A delectable combination of his lyrically laden Electronic infused Hip-Hop production, which morphed in the modern-day trap texture signified by the staple Distorted 808 drum kits, Suhn is primed to rival his international sonic contemporaries namely, Don Toliver, Pi’erre Bourne, vintage Playboi Carti, and Travis Scott, with heart-racing tempos and BPMs which make for perfect gym playlist curations. Thematically, Suhn utilised his sonic arrangement to evoke a mirror of emotional experience between him and his listener, depicting each setting as he imagined in the three-chapter narrative arch of the EP.

The aforementioned depiction can be noted in the first chapter (Track 1-4) where the mood is light and representative of memories from an early morning of the day and the beginning of this enthralling saga. In the second chapter (Track 5-8) the narrative shifts into a darker and heavier tone introducing synths into the production soundscape, which represents memories from a later time in the day towards dusk. Lastly, the conclusive third chapter (Track 9-12) represents the early evening into the deep night with the presence of dark sonics mirroring the emotive discourse of colour (predominantly black, red and blue highlights). This thematic arrangement with a clockwise narrative where day and night find their back to each other – restoring Suhn’s memory, makes for a compelling story rich in replay value.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the EP, Suhn shares:

“I wanted to reveal parts of myself and tell a love story between two people in an unconventional way. I haven’t always been the most verbally expressive especially when it comes to emotional subjects and matters of the heart; I tend to hold back on a lot of what I actually want to say. However, when making music I don’t feel like there’s a right or a wrong as to what I can do or say, it’s just pure expression, and this has become an outlet for me to fully express myself without struggle or restriction.”
