Sandton’s cutting-edge creative space the perfect collaboration hub for the visual arts industry – George Q Studios

Poised to be a premier destination for videographers, photographers, and production companies, George Q Studios is a cutting-edge 200 square meters creative space located near the Marlboro and Sandton Gautrain Stations in Johannesburg. With a mission to provide a collaborative and fully equipped environment that empowers professionals in the visual arts industry by offering state-of-the-art facilities, fostering a supportive community, and delivering comprehensive services; George Q Studios is a much needed haven for creatives.

Founded by George Qua-Enoo, respected advertising, commercial and talent photographer, operating from Johannesburg and Canada, George Q Studios has been a while in the making.

“Having my own studio space has been one of my main goals after returning to SA in 2019. I had entertained the idea for a while. I was waiting for the ‘right time’. But after my health scare earlier this year, I decided life is too short, the ‘right time’ is NOW,” shares George Qua-Enoo.

With past celebrity clients such as Canadian actors William Shatner and Stephan James, and local stars such as Blue Mbombo, Londie London, Babes Wodumo, Nandi Madida and Lunga Shabalala just to highlight a few, and working on brand campaigns for the likes of Showmax, KFC, Accelerometal, Nike Canada and Under Armour Canada; George Qua-Enoo brings a vast array of expertise to his studio space that can be enjoyed by all.

Understanding the evolving needs of the visual arts industry, George Q Studios has meticulously designed a space that combines functionality, creativity, and convenience. Their fully equipped facilities include spacious shooting areas, advanced lighting and audio-visual equipment, a green screen setup, and a wide range of props and backdrops. By offering these amenities, they provide a versatile and inspiring space that caters to the diverse needs of visual artists.

“I’m committed to fostering a supportive community of professionals who can collaborate, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. We will organise regular networking events, workshops, and educational sessions to facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development. By bringing together like-minded individuals, we create a vibrant ecosystem where creativity flourishes and professional relationships are forged,” shares George Qua-Enoo.
