Nasty C Unleashes Highly Anticipated Ivyson Army Mixtape
It has been 2 years since the last offering from Nasty C, in 2020 we saw the release of his third studio album Zulu Man With Some Power. We saw the album make some global waves, with features such as T.I, Lil Keed, Ari Lennox, Lil Gotit, Tellaman and Rowlene. He takes his role seriously saying “I never chase the dream, I design it.” Dubbed the coolest kid in Africa, Nasty C, the Black and White hit maker, ushered into a new era in 2022, which saw the superstar partner up with and become the face of Johnny Walker.
After the successful Ivyson Army tour around the country earlier this year, Nasty C celebrates with the release of new mixtape. The mixtape sees him experiment on his talents and grow more as he prepares for his 4th studio album, without comprising on the quality of the music. On the 9-track mixtape, the Stalling hitmaker, features two up and coming artists crowned Yung and Case-klowzed. The wo young talented local rappers who bring their own flair to the songs that they are featured on. Considering their style and flow you’d almost mistaken them as Nasty C protege’s, it also goes to show that his influence on culture and the local hip-hop scene has not been lost on them.

His record breaking sophomore effort , Strings and Bling has been RISA certified double platinum with over 90 million streams. The album spawned four multiplatinum singles with “King”, “Jungle”, “Strings And Bling” and “SMA” as well as 6 platinum records and 7 more records off the album that are certified Gold. Adding actor to his list of accomplishments, Nasty C joined Netflix’s Second Original African Series Blood & Water where he played the character Zero in Season one. His documentary Zulu Man In Japan was also released on Netflix. Nasty C is currently working on his forth studio effort to be released on Def Jam Records. He continues to dominate the industry by being a front runner and game changer.
