Nasty C Lights Up Coke Studio With His Latest Track and Music Video “Crazy Crazy”
Just several weeks after dropping “Fallin’”, the soulful collaboration with Filipino singer-songwriter Zack Tabudlo, Nasty C has opened another cracker for Coke Studio. The South African rapper released “Crazy Crazy”, marking his Coke legacy with another chef’s kiss moment and further whetting the appetites of his Ivysons as all roads lead to his next studio album.
The Def Jam signee flaunts his lyrical prowess over sinewy guitar loops and groovy harmonies that bring back memories of Nasty’s performance on Major Lazer’s “Particula”. Skating over the glue of trap influences and thumping bass, the Durban-bred muso picks the beat apart with a rap-sung cadence. Employing his trademark flow switches and seamless rhyme schemes, the SAMA-winning star transitions from verse to hook to verse again with album-mode ease.
The song also comes with a companion music video. Rocking his signature Tall Racks gold chain, the “Hell Naw” hitmaker makes the most of the minimalistic surroundings, injecting his vibrance and shining brighter than the red Coke bottle-shaped neon lights flanking the circular carpet.

With news of his first baby with his long-time girlfriend, Sammie Heavens, being on the way circulating, “Crazy Crazy” covers the theme of long-lasting love. “And everybody wanna know what’s our secret / some know how to find love but can’t keep it / it’s crazy that there’s levels we ain’t reach yet,” he raps as he does a little dance with a smile on his face.
With the foundation of “Fallin’”, “Crazy Crazy”, and his album single “No More”, Nasty has set the musical tone and the standard for his upcoming LP, the follow-up to 2020’s Zulu Man With Some Power.
