Tyla Drops Icy “Water (Remix)” Visuals Alongside Travis Scott Leading Up to Her Debut Album
Grammy Award-winning South African singer-songwriter Tyla has peeled back another layer of anticipation building up to her debut album Tyla with the release of “Water (Remix)”, alongside Astroworld hip-hop star Travis Scott, on the 19th of March 2024.
Unlike the original released five months prior, the visuals of the remix are cool, with an ice-based setting in which Travis and Tyla exchange verses.
Throughout the video, Tyla and Scott flirtatiously dance with each other, while occasionally communicating their affection in squiggles written on misted glass.

In the music video, the Most Stylish Performing Artist in Music winner at the SA Style Awards in 2024 assumes her trademark minimalistic aesthetic, opting for a skin-revealing wardrobe, whilst the rapper dons all-white and a mere chain around his neck in some frames.
It has been a reasonably quiet period for Tyla since her Grammy win, with her later reneging on her global tour due to an undisclosed medical condition. And after some delays, she uploaded a picture of herself holding up a white board with the official track list of her debut album.

The album, which will feature the likes of South African DJ Kelvin Momo and American rappers Gunna and Travis Scott, is set to drop this coming Friday, 22 March 2024. With much anticipation in the air, the release of “Water (Remix)” follows visuals of “Truth or Dare” and the Grammy-winning “Water”.
