
The Tladi Family Confirm The Untimely Passing Of South African Artist Tumi Tladi
The family of South African hip hop artist Itumeleng George Tladi today confirmed with profound sadness and loss, his untimely passing.
Known by his stage name Tumi Tladi, he was deeply loved by his family, friends and the entertainment industry as a whole. Son, brother and uncle, Tumi Tladi (30) sadly passed away in the early hours of this morning (10th July 2022) in Johannesburg.
He leaves behind his parents, five siblings, his niece and nephews. The Tladi family humbly request privacy during the period of grieving and asks that you please keep them in your prayers. Details of the funeral will be confirmed at a later stage.
His last words came in the form of two tweets shared on Sunday morning speaking about the importance of appreciating your loved ones. “You only Truly appreciate your loved ones when there’s a countdown, the small things don’t matter anymore,” he tweeted.
“Love like they are leaving tomorrow,” he added in a second tweet.
The rapper also teased new music with DeJaVee, saying, “Another side of me you never knew, get ready for it.”
Tladi’s most recent music release was the music video for his track Presidential, which features Nadia Nakai and MustBeDubz.
