The 6th Annual SEAfrica Returns Live in South Africa and Botswana
The 6th annual Showbiz Entertainment Africa Conference (SEAfrica) returns live on Saturday, 27 November 2021. Although the conference originally launched in Botswana in 2019, the 6th edition of the event will take place at AMPD Studio, Newtown Junction Mall, Johannesburg and will also be available for streaming to both South African and Botswana audiences.
This year’s edition brings a very insightful hybrid free event with the theme “Digital Audience Development”. It aims to support, strengthen and advance arts marketing and audience engagement skills for industry professionals. It will also showcase solutions on how to create and retain audiences by keeping up with online trends and new strategies.
“We’re excited for the return of the SEAfrica conference with the critical theme of Digital Audience Development as the entertainment industry navigates the world of COVID and the enormous challenges that it brings with, especially for the creative sector,” shares Peter Sibeko, founder and chairman of SEAfrica.

SEAfrica 2021 will form part of the Joburg Arts Alive International Festival in collaboration with Arts Alive and the City of Joburg.
