Sabelo the Kreator Denies Rape Allegations in the Aftermath of GBV Protests
Content creator Sabelo the Kreator has broken his silence after a whirlwind of rape allegations were thrown at him on the 21st of November 2025 on X. Following an emotional weekend in which the country turned black and purple as women nationwide protested against the scourge of Gender-Based Violence, Sabelo distributed a statement on his social media accounts, clarifying his stance while denying the accusations levelled against him.
Known for his Sunday cleaning and hygiene uploads on his Instagram account, Sabelo was initially put on the spotlight on X by a user called @PIE_RRE_O, who came out with a repost for a tweet about rape and said: “Seeing the replies to this just makes my blood boil because he tried to rape me in varsity, at a UJ res. Here I was thinking he learnt something from that incident but clearly not. His name is SABELO, and I will never forget that night! Sabelo the creator!!!”
The tweet soon went viral, with many more other accounts alleging that Sabelo had also done the same to them at one point in the past.
Defending himself, Sabelo made it known that the user who made allegations against him and the others that followed were altogether unknown to him.
“I would like to make it known that the person behind the account “PIERRE-O” and other anonymous people with subsequent posts are completely unknown to me. I do not know “PIERRE-O”, and I have never had an altercation with them at any university or elsewhere, let alone had a romantic relationship or otherwise with them,” he said.
He also denied the rape accusations.
“I further deny that I raped, alternatively, attempted to rape, “PIERRE-O” or any person for that matter. My stance against the plight that is sexual violence has always been clear – I believe victims, I stand with victims,” he said.
Sabelo also urged those who made the allegations to lay criminal charges on him for what he said they accused him for.
“I, therefore, humbly ask and encourage any person who believes that they are victims of my conduct, whether abuse or otherwise, to please follow the legal processes available, to enable me to account for my actions,” she said.
