Rethabile Khumalo kick starts her ‘Legacy’ with Debut Album
South African platinum selling singer, song writer, guitarist, and dancer Rethabile Khumalo, famously known for her hits ‘Umlilo’ and ‘Ntyilo Ntyilo’ is set to drop her debut album ‘The Legacy’ on Friday the 29th of April.
The legacy is inspired by everyday life experiences and people Rethablile meet on a daily, which also makes this project relatable because it tells stories of different people through different perspectives around in our country narrated by the vocal powerhouse herself, while serving vibes at the same time. It is also a reflection of Rethabile’s strength, confidence, and fearlessness, which we see as presented in artwork.
Leading 8 track album is single ‘Vum Vum’, the music video will be aired exclusively on MTV Base on Friday alongside the anticipated project. The visuals give off classic tough aesthetic, with bright colours and a captivating storyline.
