Nota Out On Bail And Will Appear Again in Court In November
Beleaguered music executive and artist manager Nota Baloyi was released from jail after meeting his bail set at R5000. The self-proclaimed “Authority” still faces charges of alleged rape opened by actress and content creator Itumeleng Bokaba.
The controversial social media butterfly surrendered himself to the police on the 4th of October 2024 at the Randburg Police Station.
“Handing myself in at the Randburg Police Station and hoping for the best… Please keep me in your prayers. This is officially the worst day of my life so far!” Nota said on X.
After Baloyi was granted bail at the Randburg Court, he shared a spate of Bible scriptures, most notably passages from Psalm 23, as well as the quotable from Sarafina!: “Freedom is coming, tomorrow!”
Baloyi also took the time to share his gratitude for the support he got from his friends, associates, and his family while he was still behind bars.
“I spent last night replying to messages of support from over 60 people. The YouTuber community showed me much appreciated fairness, bloggers allowed me to share my side of the story, podcasters invited me for interviews, my cousins and friends paid my fees, [and] my sister bailed me out,” he said.

Nota is due back for a court appearance concerning the rape case hanging over his head on the 7th of November 2024.
Apart from the rape allegation, Nota slapped Itumeleng Bokaba with a protection order, and, to this day, continues to plead his innocence regarding the matter.
This is a developing story.
