Nomcebo Zikode To Appear on USA’s Love & Hip Hop
“Jerusalema” singer, Nomcebo Zikode, is set to make an appearance on the American reality TV show Love & Hip Hop. The star, who is currently on her international Jerusalema tour made the announcement on her Instagram page while posing with Love & Hip Hop producer Mona Scott-Young.

“Guess who’s gonna be on the biggest show of America: Love and Hip Hop with the producer Mona Scott-Young ,” she captioned.
Nomcebo hung out with the popular media mogul at the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site in Gauteng and the two shared snaps of their get-together. Mona posted a clip of Nomcebo teaching her some popular South African dance moves and told fans how much fun she had.
The international success of “Jerusalema” recently went sour when Nomcebo made claims that she had not received “a cent” for her contribution as a vocalist to the song. A bitter battle between Open Mic Productions, Master KG and Nomcebo ensued once the former two began refuting the singer’s claims.
Despite the bad blood, the song itself has continued to gain international recognition. It’s gained platinum status in countries like Germany, Italy and Belgium, diamond status in France and is the first South African song to receive 100 million views on YouTube. Within a year of it’s Youtube release, it’s views now add up to 444 million.

Despite the royalties saga surrounding “Jerusalema”, the star has embraced the Jerusalema world tour which began in November 2020 alongside Master KG.
In an interview with Glamour SA, Nomcebo seemed to throw some subtle shade at her former record label while expressing her plans for independence.
“I would like to be free from any unfavorable agreements and contracts that prevent me from achieving my highest potential,” she said.
“I wish to conquer the music world with further hits and meaningful music that helps make the world a better place.”
Nomcebo recently signed an exclusive global deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing and is set to tour North America next month.
