Nobody is Safe: Big Brother Sets Every Housemate Up for Eviction, Excluding Head of House Mshini

Big Brother stunned the whole house this past Monday, revealing that the roster in its entirety, save for the Head of House (HoH), will be put on the chopping block, with nobody safe from the axe of this week’s eviction evening.

After the housemates battled it out for the weekly Head of House (HoH) challenge, Mshini emerged victorious and secured her spot in the house for yet another week since she won’t be up for eviction. With the power vested in her as HoH she selected Nsuku as the one who she will be sharing the HoH bedroom amenities with.

Housemates, however, were in for another blow after Big Brother informed the house that everyone, bar Mshini, was nominated for eviction.

Last week, the number of housemates was cut to 14, after the double departure of Muzi-The Mbuzi and Mata. Before their exit, housemates went 13 days without seeing another housemate booted after the mass eviction of the 28th and 29th day, which saw the ousting of Ezra, Luzuko, and Sipha Lee, and the surprise same-day eviction of Ash-Ley Ogle the following day.

As every housemate’s fate hangs in the balance, the lives of the contestants are now subject to Biggie’s out-the-blue twists and the whims of the general public who are hardly pleased with anything. And while housemates have had mixed feelings about the situation, from resigned acceptance by Jojo to Uyanda’s comical reaction of joy upon learning that all the other housemates would now know the sting of being on the ledge of leaving, all eyes have now shifted to this week’s upcoming live eviction show.
