Nasty C Has 20 Million Reasons to Celebrate!
Nasty C has 20 million reasons to celebrate this week. One of Mzansi’s most esteemed rappers reached 20 million streams on Audiomack, the popular New York based streaming service.
Nine of Nasty C’s songs from the collab mixtape (Zulu) with American DJ Whoo Kid Zulu received over a million streams each on the streaming service.
His notable milestone comes weeks after Audiomack announced that its monetisation program is available globally. The company’s Audiomack Monetization Program was recently only available in the US, UK and Canada but is now extended to artists in continents like Africa. It’s global introduction now allows authenticated artists worldwide to receive payment directly instead of through record labels and publishers.
Nasty C’s DJ and producer Audio Marc retweeted a fan page celebrating the rapper’s latest achievement on the streaming service and quoted “A mixtape over 20 million streams.”
The rapper’s recent milestone also accompanied the success of his recent music video “Jack”, which was number two on YouTube’s trending list when it was released and is currently running on two-and-a-half million views and counting.
