Mpho Wa Badimo crowned Big Brother Mzansi Season 3 Winner
After an entertainment filled 71 days in Big Brother’s house, Michelle “Mpho Wa Badimo ” has been crowned the popular show’s winner for season 3. Mpho Wa Badimo, who Big Brother referred to as the gift of the gods, is a 27-year old spiritual healer hailing from Daveyton, East of Johannesburg. She was undoubtedly a fan-favourite from the season’s commencement and had a big fan base on social media.
Mpho was crowned the winner of Big Brother Mzansi Season 3 towards the end of a dramatic 2-hour long live show. A tearful Mpho thanked Mzansi for choosing her as the show’s winner in a reverting season finale. She also opened up about her journey in the house, telling host Lawrence Maleka that she has found healing and experienced growth as an individual.
Mpho walked away with a whooping 2-million rand cash prize. The runner-up was 28-year-old entrepreneur and fashion designer Gershwin ‘Gash1’ Mthombeni from Pretoria —who was also a popular amongst the show’s viewers.
The two-hour live extravaganza featured performances from MiCasa, Q-Mark, TpZee and Afriikan, and Zakes Bantwini.
DJ and radio host Lerato Kganyago joined Lawrence as co-host, crossing over from the official Big Brother Mzansi viewing party at Rockets in Bryanston.
