MEET OUR FRIENDS – SCORPION KINGS INTRODUCE FRIENDS WHO’LL JOIN THEM AT LOFTUS VERSFELD STADIUM
The iconic duo introduce the talented artists in episode 1 of 4, showcasing who will be joining them on stage for one of the most anticipated live music events of the year – Scorpion Kings Live with Friends, happening on 29 August 2025 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
The Kings have always been about collaboration, and this year they’re inviting their friends and closest collaborators to share the spotlight on a historic night.
“We’ve built this movement with our friends – in the studio, in the streets, at shows. It only makes sense to share this stage with the same people who make this journey worthwhile,” say Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa. “We want you to meet our friends the way we know them – as family, as the ones who help us make history.”

Each of them brings a unique sound and presence that fans of Scorpion Kings already know and love. Joining them on stage for this first wave of announcements are Daliwonga, Young Stunna, Mlindo The Vocalist, Msaki and Phila Dlozi – artists who have all played a part in shaping the sound and spirit of the both Kabza and Maphorisa’s music journey. Together, they promise an unforgettable experience, blending amapiano anthems, soulful vocals, and unfiltered energy for one night only.
“Performing with Phori and Kabza is always special – it feels like home, because this is really family,” says Young Stunna, one of the featured artists. “We push each other to be better every time, and this show is going to be something the fans will never forget.”
