The song features Ntate Stunna and fellow label mate, Lizwi Wokuqala, on what is sure to be another of Mzansi’s most loved tunes. The 3 minute long song serves as an open love letter dedicated to a very beautiful lady who evokes the expression of how much love this man has for her. ‘Long Time’ emphasizes the beauty of love as everyone tells their story of what love is for them, all thanks to their partner.
It expands on the feeling of having ‘butterflies in your stomach’ and indeed touches the heart and brings out the love in someone but also shows them how to appreciate the presence of their lover in the most artistic way. The song is released on the same day as Malome Vector’s birthday so let us deem it as a birthday gesture from him to his fans.
Malome Vector, who hails from Maseru, is no stranger to hit songs with popular songs like ‘Senatla’ and ‘Nobody’ under his belt. In just three years of gracing the music industry, the muso has successfully carved a name for himself within the South African Afro-Pop and Hip-Hop scene.
Real name Bokang Moleli, the rapper has made significant strides since the beginning of the year – going independent and signing with the independent label The Whole Time Entertainment. This move has also secured him a new distribution deal with Ingrooves Africa (Electromode Ingrooves).
Renowned for infusing his music with his Lesotho heritage and unique delivery style, the young rapper made a conscious decision to use his home language in a world that is dominated by English rappers. The 31-year-old moved to South Africa in the year 2020 where he wanted to give focus to his career and says he draws inspiration from the love and support he receives from ordinary people through social media.
