Khanyi Mbau Leaves Boyfriend in Dubai
Khanyi Mbau has left her boyfriend, Kudzai Mushonga, brokenhearted after apparently ditching him in Dubai. The pair were vacationing in the UAE until Kudzai alerted the public through social media that Khanyi was “missing”.
Well it turns out Khanyi merely went MIA on Kudzai after she apparently let him drop her at a hair salon only for her to catch a flight back to South Africa. She let her fans know she was alright through an Instagram story.
“We didn’t fight physically or anything. It was just different chats. I don’t know if this is her saying goodbye to me because when I drop you off at the salon and you take a flight back to SA and I seem like a crazy person, you should’ve just let me know,” he said on Instagram.
Khanyi, on the other hand, left a message for all those who were worried about her.
“I am home safe and sound. I am sorry to have worried and stressed the country, my fans, friends, relatives and family. Thank you for all your prayers, support and search parties, and all my friends who pulled major strings to locate me. Thank you,” she wrote.
“So all this time I’m going crazy saying I can’t find Khanyi [while] she’s actually on a flight back to Joburg. She didn’t say, we didn’t fight, we didn’t argue the same day she left, I thought I’m honestly sending a message. I should’ve known. Things I did to just make my women happy. I don’t know if this is love but if it is love, it hurts. I don’t have energy, I’m shaking. Baby I didn’t know you were like this. Everything I’ve had, I shared with you,” said Kudzai on Instagram.
In a deleted Instagram Live, Kudzai said his mother had warned him of Khanyi, advising him to move to America and leave her alone, to which he decided against. Instead, the businessman says they decided to move to Dubai to ‘go global’ and open a company there.
“I thought I’m bringing you to Dubai so we can become global. So I registered a company in Dubai in which Khanyi is a 51% shareholder. She came up with the name. The plan was for her to do her social media stuff while I do my regular work. It cost more than a hundred and something to register a company and I paid for that,” he said.
“Wow! Was I really that bad to you? How many things of my own did I sacrifice? I should’ve listened to my mother, but anyway, that’s love. She’s the first person I never cheated on. We were like so close to each other. You’re my wife, you’re my person. We did everything together for the past eight months. We woke up in the same house.”
After supposedly speaking to Khanyi via video call, Kudzai profusely apologised to Khanyi for revealing private details of their relationship, while also expressing his love for her.
“I would like to apologise to my woman Mrs K for taking our private life on IG. I was hurting, I honestly didn’t know how to deal with my emotions. Baby I love you, video calling you this morning jus’ made me realise how much I miss you, reminds me how you used to watch me sleep on video in the beginning, the butterflies.”
“I miss you my love, I’m not ashamed to stand on top of the world and admit I love you! You became my world, my everything. Someone help me tell my woman I love her and I really miss her! Baby you know me, I’m still where you left me! Jus’ trying to control my feels! I love you and I’m sorry.”
The couple have only been dating for a little under a year. They allegedly made their relationship official in January of this year and went Instagram official soon after.
