“It’s Too Sudden”: South Africans Doubtful About the News Of Cassper Nyovest and Pulane Getting Married
South African rapper-turned-businessman Cassper Nyovest has Mzansi folk in a huff after news broke of his alleged upcoming traditional wedding this weekend. Controversy aside, people are simply not convinced.
Not long since his appearance on Mpoomy Ledwaba’s podcast, where he elaborated on how his sex addiction and infidelity led to the failure of his relationship with his baby mama Thobeka Majozi, there have been rumours of him now getting married to a lady by the name of Pulane Mojaki.
However, the news has more holes than it has credence.

Despite the announcement (through a digital invitation issued through Maphepha Ndaba on Instagram), Cassper’s own Insta account has not made a comment concerning the wedding, with his latest stories and posts being about new music on the way.
Pulane’s Twitter account hasn’t sent up any flares regarding the wedding, and both parties seem to be going on with life as though nothing momentous will be taking place in just a few days time.
Coupled with the relative lack of confirmation from both parties, Cassper revealed in the podcast with Mpoomy that he’s been single for the past two years, otherwise putting the pending wedding in unclear waters.

Mzansi folks were divided about the apparent news, with many of them doubtful about the news and the truthfulness of the forthcoming wedding.
@joy_zelda posted: We need to be honest about Cassper Nyovest. Even if he can get married to any women, it won’t change him from wanting to get into other women pant[ies]. Even if Pulane can get him children he will continue making children outside their marriage like Black Coffee. A cheater never changes.[SIC]”
@itu_nadia commented on the speed of the wedding, calling it a “publicity stunt” more than anything else: “Cassper Nyovest marrying Pulane sounds like a publicity stunt, or it’s probably to get over the baby mama, it’s too sudden, man.”
@mandyring made a comment about the announcement being a marketing strategy for a “music video”, saying: “Could Cassper Nyovest and Pulane be making a music video?”
