Emtee Clarifies Confusion on His Latest Instagram Live After Leaked DMs
Award-winning trap star and singer-songwriter Mthembeni Ndevu, popularly known as eMTee, has come out to clear the air since his partner Nicole Kendall Chinsamy have been the talk of the digital streets since the latter hacked the star’s Instagram account and leaked screenshots of private messages of the rapper purporting to be cheating with other women. On his latest Instagram Live, the rapper spoke about the situation and made it clear that things weren’t the way they were portrayed to be.
The rapper talked about his intentions concerning the texts that were leaked, while also telling the public that he was hacked.
“If I sleep or just so happen to leave my phone somewhere unattended, that phone is taken, opened, and the person who took it has their way with it,” he said. “But as for me, you can see that throughout the conversations, I’m being respectful. ‘Thank you for supporting my music. I’d like to meet you one day and thank you in person.’ I don’t remember saying anything else.”
Emtee also spoke about his dissatisfaction with his current relationship with Nicole, expressing that the hacking incident was a blessing in disguise because he’d already been looking for a way out of the relationship.
“It’s been a long time since I wanted to leave this sh*t relationship,” he said. “So I’m really ecstatic about what’s happening. It’s relieving.”

The DIY series mastermind laughed off the fact that he has been getting cooked on Twitter because of the incident.
“I love that sh*t. Tell em bring it on,” he said, laughing on the Live.
In his Live, he also said that he desired to have Mshini, who he wanted to have a joint Live with.
“Ngyamfuna vele,” he said about Mshini. “If I don’t marry Pearl Thusi, I’ll marry Mshini.”
Released on the morning of the 11th of August 2025, screengrabs of conversations eMTee and other women found their way to the “War” hitmaker’s Instagram stories. One of these DMs features a staggered exchange between him and an OnlyFans porn star who goes by the pseudonym of Sugababiie. Their chats, brief and without any free-flowing chemistry, are ones that peter out after the trading of greetings. The mysterious element in the chat perhaps comes from the adult entertainment content creator, where she speaks about something the rapper “promised me” and her asking for R7 000. Without much context to that particular aspect, the conversation leaves much to one’s imagination.
In their chat, Sugababiie replied to one of eMTee’s stories, with the message: “That c*ck definitely not gay, she must stfu!” To which eMTee responded that, “I regret the day I met that her,” also adding that the person being spoken about is a “stupid b*tch.”
The person being referred to in that portion of the messages could likely be Nicole, since more screenshots were leaked of the couple arguing, with Nicole verbally abusing eMTee and calling him “gay”.

More screenshots were released, but this time former Big Brother Mzansi housemate Mshini found herself in the mix. Their chats, initiated by Mshini, culminated in the “Roll Up” superstar asking for her address so he could visit her, a request she obliged to.
In the wake of SAMA-winning star trending on the socials, with many drawing conclusions that he has been unfaithful and chatting up different women, Mshini issued a press statement in which she clarified that her private messages with eMTee were strictly professional and that there was nothing untoward about her intentions of giving up her home address, despite eMTee making it clear in his Live that he actually fancied her.
