Cyan Boujee and Ex Manager Embroiled In an Ugly Altercation
Polarising social media personality and DJ Cyan Boujee has gotten on the wrong side of controversy once more after she allegedly assaulted her former manager this past weekend.
Not new to running up the numbers under X trends, Cyan has been in the spotlight for leaked sex tapes and her lifestyle. However, in her latest scandal, a leaked WhatsApp message details the alleged altercation between her and ex-manager, Lee Wellington.
On the back-and-forth, the two can be heard trading insults before Boujee retaliated to him calling her broke by smashing an object against his face.
With mounting evidence against her, she took to her Instagram and posted a series of stories regarding the matter, in which she defended herself against the onslaught. She went on to stand her ground, reiterating that she’d be moving on with a new agency, and that she and her team have opted to hold their peace despite her admitting that “my team and I could’ve said so much because we were all present there [when the fight broke out].”
In one of the videos on her stories, she said that she’s happy that she’ll no longer be working with him and alluded to never assaulting him: “If I actually beat someone up, I’m gonna own up to that sh*t. How am I beating a 49-year-old [man], heh?”

According to Maphepha Ndaba on Instagram, Lee Wellington was in hospital after the incident. A screenshot emerged from Wellington depicting a hospital ward on the platform’s Instagram Story.

As for Wellington, he has decided to escalate the matter, choosing to press charges against Boujee. On his Instagram account, he uploaded a succinct status, saying: “If it was the other way around… I would be behind bars right now.”
