Connie Ferguson Makes TV Comeback

Connie Ferguson delighted fans with her return to TV as Harriet Khoza on popular SA telenovela, The Queen. The star took some time off to mourn after her husband Shona Ferguson passed away late in July.

The absence of Harriet Khoza was explained with the story that she was falling for her rival Hector, played by Rapulana Seiphemo. She leaves for her mother’s house in the North West to hide her feelings for him.

This storyline continues with her family members suspicious of the timing of her return, with Brutus (Themba Ndaba) concerned that she is hiding something.

Since the passing of Shona, Connie has not held back from pouring her heart out and sharing pictures of her and her husband in loving moments.

“I miss you. I miss your random visits to set. I miss you deliberately trying to annoy me. I miss you crushing on me all the time. I just miss you so much! I love you forever,” she wrote in one post.

In another post, she posted about a difficult day at work and wrote a warm message alongside a picture of her husband: “ Today was a tough day. I needed a big hug from heaven. By His grace I managed to get through work, and I was reminded that His power is made perfect in weakness.🙏🏾 Grateful for His love and mercy🙏🏾”
