CHXRL releases his new single: I Hate Christmas

CHXRL unapologetically delivers a truthful rendition of a Christmas song, highlighting the inner world of those for whom the festive season highlights the absence of loved ones.
“I Hate Christmas” revolves around the seasonal sadness that can come with Christmas time. The feeling of sitting around the dinner table and missing the faces you use to see and grieving family members that have passed,” shares CHXRL.
CHXRL is no stranger to emotional vulnerability, recently released his EP hopeless and romantic, which in his own words is “a journal of the growing pains of being a careless 17-year-old to being transported to navigating your early 20s, in what feels like a blink of an eye. From losing a soulmate, bone-chilling heartbreak, internal battles with yourself, and learning to love every part of who you are”.
The South African artist confides in his music, lingering in questions of existential dread, emotional turmoil, and what it means to be alive in this modern world.
Since its release hopeless & romantic has received strong support from digital stores both locally and abroad as well as some radio charting success with some great performances alongside Will Linley, and Majozi among others.
