Bonang Glitters on VMA Red Carpet
Beloved moghel, Bonang Matheba, made her VMA debut dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana holographic sequins two-piece. She dazzled fans with her look on the red carpet, where she attended the event with New York City real estate agent Emory Stewart.
The star enhanced her look with abstract palette earrings by jewellery designer Lorraine West (the same earrings worn by Beyoncé in Black is King’s “Water” video) and Stacie sandals by Esor Marie. Overall, the look had an extraterrestrial air to it and even though online users argued about whether or not the outfit was a hit, it’s safe to say Bonang managed to pull it off.
Earlier this year, she let fans know that she had relocated to New YorK and had fans accusing her of “leaving without saying goodbye”. Since then, she’s managed to divide her time between the US and South Africa, while serving the most exquisite looks on the Gram.
She was recently spotted in New York by a Tik Tokker who spotted a large crowd surrounding the star. When he went off to investigate, he discovered Bonang but wasn’t sure who she was. Followers commented on his post and mistook her for Zoe Saldana.
Little can be said about Bonang’s endeavours in the US, but it’s believed she’s growing her brand and furthering her career.
