The show paid homage to Big Zulu’s early life as a taxi driver, a journey that shaped the artist he is today. This cultural narrative was brought to life through powerful stage visuals and the attire of some performers. A standout moment was Lwah Ndlunkulu’s outfit inspired by hardworking women who hustle daily as street vendors and taxi rank operators. Speaking about her look, Lwah said, “The inspiration behind my outfit comes from omama who wake up every day, whether it’s hot or cold, to feed their families. They represent resilience and strength.”
Big Zulu used the opportunity to thank the sponsors that made the show possible, including Benny, Sasol, Toyota, and the Taxi Association. “It takes a village to raise a child, and that is exactly what led to this concert, he emphasized. This show was also about giving opportunities to young, upcoming artists, and performing with my daughter made me so proud of the young lady she is becoming.”

The event was a perfect blend of talent, culture, and unity. DJ Zinhle brought the crowd to its feet with her signature beats, Nkosazana Daughter and Aymos delivered soul-stirring performances, Master KG energized the audience with his global hits and Inkabi Nation united fans in song and pride.
Inkabi Records collaboration with Thikko Events resulted in a world-class production that honoured Big Zulu’s journey while also giving a platform for emerging artists. The evening demonstrated the importance of collaboration, storytelling, and community in bringing South African music to the global stage.
