Big Brother Mzansi’s Liema regrets nothing and is looking forwarding to making her music heard

Willy’s Big Brother Mzansi Comes to an End a Week Before the Finale

A week after seemingly ‘mistakenly’ pushing that buzzer that automatically eliminated her from the competition in the fate room, 22-year-old Liema says she doesn’t regret her decision. The Big Brother Mzansi season 4 contestant was the third housemate to meet her karma in the dreadful fate-room but for her, what seemed dreadful brought with it R250 000 in the bag.

The singer, who had her fair-share of drama, described her journey in the house as an experience that has grown her in various ways especially when it came to standing up for herself.

“Looking back at that moment and where I am now, I am at peace and believe it is for a reason. I might not know why things played out the way that they did – but I do believe in the long run I will get to understand.

“I do not regret anything that I did or said in the house but I do wish I would have done more. Like showcasing my singing talent more, dancing even more but outside of that, I don’t regret anything said or done,” she said.

Liema not only had two strikes to her name, one less of being disqualified from the show, she also found herself in a love triangle with Jareed and Mpumi with Elsie joining the romantic entanglement. Recapping her last Saturday in the house, that brought with it so much drama when her love interest Jareed was gunning for her to get her third strike to get disqualified, Leima said she has no interest in reviving her relationship with Jareed.

“I did have feelings for Jareed but how everything played out, especially towards the end – I don’t think I would want to pursue anything with him. He is a definite no for me, the house is a different experience than when you are watching. We are in it, the feelings, emotions, hurt etc. are extremely different from just watching it.

“Personally, being in the house with people routinely was overwhelming and extremely challenging. But we had to always remind ourselves that nothing is really personal, although at times it felt really personal,” she said.

With her music in mind, she hopes her journey in the house will open the right doors for her to pursue her first love.

“Being a fan of the show and growing up watching it, I have always wanted to join the house to be seen. I don’t know yet if I have achieved that goal and that my career can take off. I hope I did not sell the wrong narrative about myself but even if I did, it is what it is. There are people that will hate me and some will love me. I am looking forward to the future, my music and venturing into skincare,” she said.

Liema also shares that she does regret not going to her grandmother’s funeral but adds that after speaking to her family, they all came to the consensus that she should not bail out of the competition.

“Regardless of what the viewers have to say about that decision, my family and I are at peace with the decision we took.

Lepara la Pitori, Willy, is the seventeenth S’ya Mosha housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother Mzansi house

“I would like to see Sinaye, McJunior or Makhekhe take the final prize money. Simply because they are real and have been real every step of the competition.”

Last night though, it was Willy who bowed out of the competition – walking away with a grand total of R24 650.  During his exit interview on stage, Willy expressed pride for making it this far in the game, which he had not expected.

Gliding to the finale this Sunday is Zee, Papa Ghost, Sinaye, McJunior and Mpumi.
