Basha Uhuru Taking Place at Constitution Hill from 25 to 28 June
Basha Uhuru is proud to host the third edition of the Amapiano Africa Summit, a groundbreaking platform celebrating the fastest-growing sound on the continent and the creative movement that drives it.
Over two days, this high-energy summit will bring together artists, creator, industry leaders, fans, fashion disruptors, and cultural innovators for a one-of-a-kind Amapiano experience. The Amapiano Summit is part of Basha Uhuru this year. Hosting a two-day conference and a live showcase on the 28th of June at Constitution Hill, the focus on this now global genre of music adds new areas of creativity to Basha Uhuru 2025.
The Basha Uhuru Creative Weeks offering includes:
Input from Shakes Mashaba (Football legend and former Bafana Bafana Coach) ; Lebogang Maile (MEC Finance & Economic Development Gauteng) at the AfriMasterclass Full Day Conference.
The Creative Sector Youth Expo includes The Business of Fashion curated by Sophie Ndaba and featuring founders of the brands Floyd Avenue Apparel; Sun Goddess amongst others.
This year’s Films of Freedom Film Festival curated by Mmabatho & Refilwe Montsho of Monday Pictures will bring seven films to the screening event.
