Amapiano Songbird Nkosazana Daughter Slams MacG For Allegations Involving Master KG And The Paternity of Her Child With Sir Trill
Amapiano crooner and songwriter Nkosazana Daughter has been subject to public scrutiny after Podcast and Chill host MacG made scandalous allegations about her child with musician Sir Trill belonging to house DJ and producer Master KG instead. Nkosazana has hit out at MacG, not only slamming the claim as a falsehood but also criticising MacG’s misuse of his influence and platform.
On Episode 573 of the podcast which premiered on the 15th of July 2024, MacG alleged that the Nkosazana and Sir Trill’s child actually belongs to the “Jerusalema” star and not the latter. On the 53:04 mark of the episode, promptly starting after the Mushe Ndiki surrogacy segment on the show, MacG launched the allegation, speaking to co-host Sol Phenduka, who was quick to brand MacG’s claim as a “rumour”.
“Speaking about babies, man, craziest thing I heard this week. I don’t know who told me, but somebody told me, and they [are] very close to Nkosazana Daughter. Apparently, that’s not—who’s the guy?—Sir Trill’s kid. It’s Master KG’s kid. I kid you not, bro,” MacG said.

Nkosazana Daughter and Master KG recently put their heads together to put out the single “Dali Wami”, which dropped on the 28th of June 2024 alongside King Temoso and Nobuhle. The pair, noted for their extensive output and musical chemistry, have also worked together on other songs over the past three years such as “Keneilwe”, “Sofa Silahlane”, “Makhelwane”, and “Dali Nguwe”.
Nkosazana Daughter took to her X account to set the record straight, venting on her wall while addressing the rumours.
On the first tweet, she wrote: “I assure [yo]u big time [that] my relation with Master KG is not romantic or sexual! Like I said before, KG and I only work together but it’s like there’s people trying to convince you that there is more and there [is] no such thing.”
The “Amaphutha” hitmaker also expressed her disappointment at MacG’s conduct, critiquing the ease with which he made the allegations for views and clicks. She also touched on sexism within the industry, calling out the tendency of people always thinking women owed their successes to sleeping their way to the top.
She said: “All this for views? I’m so disappointed at how low people can go and not to mention how woman [SIC] are so disrespected in this industry! It’s so unfortunate that you will never see the amount of work that we have put out, because I’m female [that means] I must be sleeping with him. Disgusting?”
The canary also defended the honour of her privatised relationship with Sir Trill, who has been in the limelight himself over disputes with amapiano superstar DJ Maphorisa. She cautioned MacG over the reckless claims made during the episode, adding that his words had an impact on her family.
“We have family’s [SIC} at home like you, that watch these things you say. As for my relationship with Sir Trill, [it] was never a secret but [it has been] private! Even before you even knew me!” she said.
MacG hasn’t responded to Nkosazana Daughter’s motion on X as yet.
