AKA’s Gets Engaged to Nelli Tembe
Supa Mega star, AKA, announced his engagement to Nelli Tembe on social media with an image of Nelli’s finger donning a stunning engagement ring. His relationship with 21-year-old Nelli has endured for nearly a year and AKA has shown nothing but love to Nelli on social media.
Since going public with his relationship, AKA hasn’t stopped gushing about the joys of dating his new fiance. In March last year the 33-year-old rapper controversially tweeted “Find yourself a lekker 21 year old my broer. Trust me (sic)”. He also suggested that his Cross My Heart single from Bhovamania was dedicated to Nellie when he posted the tweet below.
In February last year, the rapper gifted Nelli, who is also the daughter of the wealthy businessman, Moses Tembe, a red and white teddy bear during a Valentine’s Day Weekend at V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. The couple’s engagement is a sure upgrade from last year’s Valentine’s Month and a clear sign that the couple couldn’t be more in love.
No love is ever without controversy though. AKA and Nellie were alleged to have been in an argument that got physical amongst Randburg policemen. According to City Press reports in November, the couple made threats to lay charges against each other which fell through in the end.
