THE THIRD INSTALLMENT OF THE SOIREE BY Stella Artois POSTPONED
Following the death of South Africa’s mega rapper AKA, the popular new lifestyle and music event series, The Soirée by Stella Artois, has been postponed.
AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, was among the enlisted performers to wow fans on stage this Saturday, performing alongside other greats such as Elaine, Lloyiso and Amanda Black, as well as house DJ Marcus Harvey, DJ Loveslavephola, DJ & mixologist, Mmisology, and funk DJ, Sumthin Brown.
In a released statement, it read: “Stella Artois South Africa is shocked and saddened at the tragic loss of life of a great friend of our brand, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, and Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes, over the weekend, and extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the families of both.
We’d also like to note that The Soiree event, at which AKA was to perform has been postponed from this coming Saturday 18th to next Saturday, 25th. “
