S.O.N Consoles Takes The Fun Route To Consoling A Valentine’s Rejection With His Latest Single “Lonely (Valentine)” Featuring Musa Keys, Zadok & Chukido
It is rather a confusing time to be a single lady with high standards. In contrast to the heightened empowerment that comes with independence is that daunting time of the year where love is in the air and the seasonal FOMO comes about.
For men, irrespective of relationship status, it is the annual pseudo-Men’s Conference to avoid Valentine’s altogether and practice self-care with the fellow man. S.O.N, Musa Keys, Zadok & Chukido seem to have hosted their own Men’s Conference and created a light-hearted, Electronic Dance single titled “Lonely (Valentine)”.
Driven by a soft Amapiano-Esque influence, Musa Keys airs out his frustration to his intended that he has been unsuccessful in courting. Against the backdrop of his shortcomings, he provides comic relief by turning the viral “Valentines is coming, where’s your boyfriend” video into a humorous chorus.
Keeping true to the playful nature of this jab at the courtee is the free-spirited bridge from Chukido, who seems to have fortune on his side and may very well be getting lucky by the end of the night. S.O.N follows with a subtle swoon warning the dangers of the moon, stars, commitment, and soft kisses his courtee will miss by not giving him a chance at being more than a Valentine.
Lonely (Valentine) is slated for release on February 11 2022, via Vth Seasons.
