“This song is exactly what the title suggests,” Strei explains. “It came from a place of expressing raw, unfiltered emotions, both positive and negative. I deal with anxiety personally, so this was me being open about that experience and putting those feelings into the music.”

“This record is a more refined, focused, and cleaner version of what I introduced before,” Strei notes. “It’s one of the most fully realized expressions of Afromood so far.”
The creation process reflects that same sense of immediacy. Developed at KTIZO Studios in collaboration with producers Treasure and Big Space, the track was built from the ground up in a single day. From production to vocal recording, the core of the song came together organically, driven by instinct rather than structure.

“My process is very organic,” he says. “We built the beat from scratch, I freestyled melodies, and then developed the strongest ideas. For this song, I already had the theme in mind, so certain words naturally came through and evolved into the full story.”
Live guitar elements performed by Big Space add a subtle but effective layer, reinforcing the track’s emotional weight without overwhelming it. What followed was a period of refinement, ensuring the final record remained true to its original feeling while achieving technical precision.
