Gogo Skhotheni and Monde Shange’s Baby Boy Monde Jr Shange Passed Away
Renowned traditional healer, social media personality, and podcaster Gogo Skhotheni’s child Monde Jr Shange passed away at the age of three.
In a statement released across her social media accounts, Skhotheni shared the tragic news in the late morning of 3 September 2024. According to the statement, Monde Jr succumbed to death on Monday, the 2nd of September 2024, taking his last breath at the Busamed Modderfontein Private Hospital.

“It is what profound sadness that the Motsoeneng and Shange families confirm the passing of Monde Jr Shange. Monde Jr departed this life at 15:00pm on Monday, Septermber 2nd, 2024, at Busamed Modderfontein Private Hospital.
“The families kindly request privacy as they navigate this deep and painful loss. We ask for your understanding and compassion in giving them the space they need during this difficult time of grieving.” said the statement.
The statement ended with an extract of Psalm 23:4, which reads: “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff comfort me.”
Monde Jr was born without the tube that supplies food to the stomach. Monde Jr., born a premature baby, lived as a symbol of courage and hope, with his Instagram page collecting 66 thousand followers.
