Mzansi Rallies Behind Gcinile Twala On the Socials After Sex Tape Leak
Former Mzansi Bonnie and Clyde Gcinile Twala and Themba “Grootman” Selahle have been the center of discussion and discourse with a damaging sex tape of Gcinile finding its way to the public.
In the early hours of Monday, the 20th of May 2024, a sex tape titled “Part 1 of 35”, was leaked from Grootman’s iCloud. The compromising video showed Gcinile in particular as the main subject involved in various forms of sexual intercourse. The man in the video, obscured and left out of view, has been speculated to be Grootman.
Themba, a forex trader who has had to field numerous accusations against him being labelled a scammer, has alleged that the video was leaked without his permission after his iCloud was supposedly “hacked”. This follows leaked screenshots of conversations involving Grootman threatening to release their sex tapes.

The country’s former beloved couple was known for their lavish baecations and extravagant travels captured on video and camera for the world to see and admire. However, earlier this month, things took a turn for the worst, The on-and-off ex lovers, who share a daughter, were reportedly going through tumultuous waters, leading to allegations of Grootman demanding that Gcinile return the things he’d gifted her with, including her diamond-studded engagement ring.
Tweeps on the socials have been putting two and two together, calling out Themba for revenge porn, with many speculating that the leak was not only deliberate but also motivated by bitterness and resentment towards Gcinile being resolved to move on with her life after the split.
Users on X have also been circulating screengrabs from Grootman’s now-privatized Instagram account, where he posted about being tempted to release the tape with his former fiancée.
“You really think I need anyone’s help if I wanted to leak anything? I would do it myself, it’s not like I am scared of anyone or anything mos. Matter of fact, I might as well pull a number on her and do it,” he posted on his Instagram Stories with an altered meme of Game of Throne’s character Khaleesi smiling ominously as the world burns behind her.

Women’s rights organisation Women for Change said: “We demand justice for Gcinile. Grootman must be arrested and held accountable for his actions. We call on law enforcement, policymakers, and community leaders to take a stand against revenge porn and all forms of gender-based violence.”
@wanda_malunga said: “Grootman’s behaviour is actually scary because he can actually kill her,I mean he is psychotic. You can just tell that he told himself that if he can’t have Gcinile then no one will. I really hope Gcinile gets the help she needs and is protected from this monster.”
@Krugersville decried the leak of the tape as revenge porn, posting: “Haibo Grootman posted Gcinile’s sextapes in 4k just like that without shame?? Bro that’s revenge porn what the fuck is wrong with that monster.”

The beauty and makeup influencer has since deactivated her Instagram account without saying anything concerning the matter. Apart from denying his involvement in the leak of the video on his now-locked Instagram account, Grootman hasn’t made another comment on the matter.
